Sodexo Campus Services is seeking a Retail Manager 2 for our food service operations at University of Wisonsin/Oshkosh, located in Oshkosh, WI. We offer innovative menu selections and superior service in our resident dining halls and retail venues and community catering program. This position will be recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for front-line personnel within the account. The ideal candidate will possess: high-end operations experience, strong leadership capabilities, a customer service focus, financial skills, labor management, food costing skills, commitment to safety, and creativity. Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
This is for a large public University with 13000 students. There are 3,400 students on a meal plan. Position handles 4 satellite operations with sub shop, pizza shop, c-store , bagel shop , 2 coffee shops with Sodexo's Simply to Go program.

Position Summary
Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
