Position Description:

Position will support industrial engineering functions on both the corporate-level and the facility-level distribution management operations.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated proficiency in: MS Office; MS Project AutoCAD; Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and statistical analysis tools and/or simulation. Must have strong understanding of relationship between supplier, distributor and customer as it applies to entire supply chain network. Corporate Responsibilities:

Apply and improve methodologies and tools used to design distribution management solutions. Establishes and implements performance measures, analyses and recommends alternative strategies to maximize process efficiencies Position will support the sales process by developing high-quality designs through calculating optimal resource requirements and creating efficient layout process and strategy. Confers with the Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions Manages multiple projects of small and medium sizes while leading, coaching, and mentoring other engineers Independently identifies process gaps; recommends and implements improved process On-site Facility Responsibilities:

Perform labor studies for facility operations, optimize warehouse storage and work cell layout changes. Develop cost/benefit reporting for proposed process changes Establish the project plans and direct warehouse projects for process improvement initiatives and layout changes Conduct focused continuous improvement projects, along with performing as member of team a contributing to organized continuous improvement workshops. Interface with customer (plant level and corporate level) regarding all engineering activities #LI-PH1

Requirements:

Bachelors degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience Minimum of six years of related experience is required ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

MBA and/or Industrial Engineering Masters Degree preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred, attainment is required within 12 months American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification is preferred Demonstrated proficiency in: MS Office MS Project and/or Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems (TMS and WMS) and Network analysis tools MS Visio Statistical and/or Transportation Analysis Tools (Minitab, SAS, Matlab, i2, Tmod, ILPS) Mapping analysis tools and/or Simulation, preferred
