ABOUT THE JOB:

DaVita Rx's Value-Added Services Department is responsible for developing and operating innovative products, services, and solutions with a number of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to private and commercial payors and pharmaceutical companies. This position is tasked with leading and managing the operational teams delivering the following value-creating products for DaVita Rx:

Profiles: Collecting and distributing information on insurance coverage and clinical outcomes for certain oral medications

Symphony: Regularly contacting patients to educate them on their disease state and how certain medications can improve their clinical outcomes

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is accountable for day-to-day management and support of approximately 45 or more teammates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Provide general leadership, vision, and direction to direct reports Accountable for day-to-day management and support of approximately 45 Profiles and Symphony teammates Oversee product deliverables including the management of processes and quality Identify and maintain key performance indicators such as teammate productivity, quality audits, and departmental service levels for all teams Identify process improvement opportunities that help drive better team performance Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and predictable quality Manage team budget dollars by reviewing labor reports and monthly budget reports and make staffing adjustments, as required Create and maintain positive relationships with the DaVita Rx pharmacy teammates and managers Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed Develop and conduct educational programs to keep teammates up-to-date on DaVita policies, new laws and regulations impacting work, and other information necessary to maintain teammates' knowledge of department processes Understand and follow DaVita Rx employee policies and procedures and maintain absolute compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and Pharmacy to all applicable regulations via a thorough practice of documentation and organizational skills Understand basic wage and hour laws, federal, state and local laws and regulations, and legislation affecting employment Maintain and communicate facility emergency management programs and ability to act swiftly and confidently in an emergency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree is required, MBA or Masters Degree in related area of study is considered a plus. 7-10 years relevant work experience, and at least five (5) years managing/leading/building high-performing teams. Experience with project management is required. Experience with financial and operational management, risk management, compliance, and team development required.
