C&A Technology Consultant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Norfolk, VA.

Possession of a Secret Clearance is required as a condition for employment.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Plan, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to validate security posture in support of C&A activities accordance with DOD 8500.2.
- Analyze vulnerability and configuration results collected from ACAS (Tenable Security Center tool suite) and provide detailed reports.
- Proactively identify and manage potential security issues in order to capture and mitigate any issues.
- Possess strong requirements gathering, analysis, and written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of the WAN/LAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, Exchange, HBSS, Antivirus, W2k8, WIN 7, HBSS security suite required and proven Information Assurance experience.
- Possess the ability to analyze results of security / validation testing tools.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience, typically five or more (5+) years of relevant experience. IA certification (Security + or CISSP).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret/SSBI Security Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in Certification and Accreditation DIACAP process.
- This requires the analysis of network/site/inspection scan results for actionable mitigation requirements. Knowledge of the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for each platform, and an ability to evaluate ACAS scan findings.
- Members must also be familiar with the Cyber Command directives and requirements.
- Experience with IA audit tools (such as, SCCVI (Retina) and/or ACAS (Nessus), Gold Disk and Secure Readiness Review (SRR) scripts, SCAP (DISA Benchmark testing), SCC (SCAP Compliance Checker)).
- Understanding of DISA STIGs and VMS.
- Understanding of DISA IAVM (IAVA and IAVB).
- Knowledgeable in the following Operating Systems and Applications: Linux/Unix, Windows Servers (2003 and 2008), Windows Clients (W2K, XP, Vista, and Win7), and other Various Network Device Types.
- Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.
- Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.
- Highly self-motivated, can work both in team environment and independently. Ability to maintain a highest degree of honesty and professional integrity at all times.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills and ability to work non-standard hours.
- Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
- Three to five (3-5) years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).
