We have partnered together with a local Fortune 500 company to find an experienced Project Manager in Instructional Design

This person will lead the assessment, design, development, and implementation of training programs and instructional materials using instructional design methods and technology best practices. Ensures training quality in design and implementation. Establishes and maintains standards for instructional design based upon adult learning best practices and fluency-based training methodology. Acts as a resource for the training team and peer lead for the development and execution of competency (hard and soft skill) based training programs and process improvement efforts of policy and technical processes.

Need Background in Instructional Design principles (ADDIE model), focus will be on instructor-led/ classroom training development. Need project management capability.

Performs job/needs/audience analysis to identify policies/procedures, compliance performance requirements, and trainee capabilities and learning styles using fluency-based training methodology. Develops learning objectives, metrics, and levels of task mastery required. Selects best-practice instructional methods and techniques (e.g. self-paced, group-paced, media, virtual, on-line). Designs instructional sequence to accomplish learning objectives. Defines instructional design specifications and formats (e.g. instructor and participant materials). Designs processes for learner reinforcement to ensure learning.

Partners with subject matter experts to develop learning objectives and training content that result in information that is relevant and complete. Monitors program preparations and prepares delivery resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule.

Researches, organizes information, writes, and oversees instructional materials (instructor and trainee guides, graphics, tutorials, references, tests, etc.). Structures course content, develops course outlines, and determines user pathways and feedback to create instructional and system navigational templates.

Plans, develops, implements and evaluates web related and instructional design projects which include creating project plans, managing tasks/monitoring timelines, developing communications, performing analysis, managing issues, and evaluating outcomes.

Consults with department/operational leadership and trainers/educators to determine clients' needs, initiates and guides processes, acknowledges perceived roadblocks, corporate culture and work (environmental) issues regarding instructional design and delivery.

Develops and maintains evaluations to ensure quality in the development and delivery of training programs by establishing and maintaining standards for instructional design based upon adult learning best practices and fluency-based training methodology.

Leads all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of training needs analysis and process improvement efforts of policy and technical processes.

Need Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.Typically requires 5 years of experience in adult education/instructional design that includes experiences in curriculum development, training program presentation, web development and adult learning.
