We are currently seeking Hosts / Hostess / Baristas / Starbucks Shift Supervisors to work at our fine dining and casual locations, both on the mountain and in our hotel properties, for the 2015 – 2016 winter season here in Vail, CO.

About These Jobs:

The Host/Hostess is responsible for ensuring that all Resort guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible by providing exceptional host skills to include; courteous telephone skills, proper handling of reservations, greeting guests, seating guests, monitoring the flow/pace of the dining room, offering support to servers/server attendants and acknowledging departing guests with a kind remark.S/He is also responsible for taking care of future reservations and maintaining wait list, and other duties as assigned.

The Barista is responsible for ensuring that all Resort guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible by providing exceptional barista skills to include; Provides customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. S/he ensures customers and employees will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere.

The Starbucks Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all Resort guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible while supervising the team of baristas on-duty by providing exceptional barista skills to include; Provides customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. S/he ensures customers and employees will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere.

The Gondola Greeter will work at either the top or the bottom of the gondola. They are primarily responsible for checking in guests, issuing Game Creek blankets, providing guests information for loading the snow cat and arrival to Game Creek, and staying in communication with the restaurant for changes to reservations, guest arrival, and future reservations.  

What we are looking for:

• Individuals who are passionate about guest service and the hospitality/ski industry
• English Proficiency
• Able to work the entire season (November 2015 – April 2016)
• Some experience in food and beverage or guest service
• Flexibility is a must, and typically most hours will be on weekends and holidays.

For lunch, we have brats, hot dogs, paninis, soup and chili. Be sure and come to Express Lift for après to cozy up around the fireplace or sit on the outdoor patio and watch skiers and riders try to brave the black faces of Pepi’s and Head First. PLEASE NOTE: Baristas may transition to cocktail waiters/waitresses during apres hours.

The Grand Press: Take a break from the slopes with a hot drink next to the fire. Offering Starbucks coffee, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, a selection of candy bars and baked goods and more, The Gran Press is located behind the main Eagle's Nest building on the South side of the complex in the Adventure Ridge building.
