Inside Sales Building Materials

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist customers by providing information on the best products to meet their needs and describe uses. Work with sales team to increase sales. Special order materials for customers, assist on inventory control, prepare daily deposits and reconcile sales. Enter purchase orders, create invoices, track production and shipping schedule. Work in a fast paced, high energy team environment. Work in alignment with Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values, and Objectives MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.SKILLS: Self directed; excellent customer support and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Strong communication, basic math skills, and familiarity with MS Excel and Word; great attention to detail and follow-through; some general knowledge of building materials/landscaping products and their uses in construction applications. Building materials may include roofing, door units, kitchen cabinets, nails, siding, etc. EXPERIENCE: Two years building materials sales experience. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Completion of college level business or marketing courses. SKILLS: Good communication and computer skills. Good general knowledge of building materials products; design and construction. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years sales experience in building materials or other construction-related sales All sales representatives not listed separately Background check, Drug screen and reference checks will be performed.
