We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Corrosion Engineer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

Duties: Reviewing inspection findings, identifying corrosion and damage mechanisms, and recommending materials of construction for repairs and replacement equipment.
Lead and participate in incident investigations related to corrosion and damage.
Evaluate new crude slates for corrosion and reliability concerns.
Fulfill a leadership role in the development of Integrity Operating Windows.
Support development of corrosion monitoring plans and control limits. Provide corrective actions for operators to implement.
Assist with development of the Risk Based Inspection Program; including inspection planning, evergreening, and recommendation implementation.
Participate in Corrosion and Materials Advisory Group
Lead development and implementation of Corporate Programs and Corrosion Studies.
Maintain awareness of chemical injection, water wash, and corrosion control programs already in place within the refinery.
Assist with development of inspection scope and technique required to identify potential piping and equipment damage.
Actively work toward obtaining industry certifications including National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), API 571, API 577, API 580, and NACE Corrosion Technician.

Required: Bachelors degree in engineering with a minimum of three years experience and working knowledge of refinery processes is preferred.
