Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - LDRP to Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.
We are seeking a caring and talented registered nurse for the LDRP to perform services requiring substantial specialized knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological and sociological sciences based on nursing theory.
This is a .8 FTE night shift, 32 hours per week, future cross training on the special care nursery is required.
In this position you will:
Implement the nursing process in the promotion and maintenance of health, management of illness, injury, or infirmity, and the restoration of optimum function.
Administer, teach, counsel, supervise, delegate and evaluate nurse practices and administer medications and treatments prescribed.
Be directly accountable and responsible to the consumer for quality of nursing care rendered.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse or eligible.
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) -- Healthcare provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one (1) year of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
EFM certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification.
One to three (1-3) years of experience in a Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience.
