Intern -- Pay and Performance & People & Performance

Summary: Assists project teams in collecting and collating quantitative and qualitative information, researching HR best practices, preparing client-facing deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Synthesize and analyze quantitative data (e.g., spreadsheets and demographic information from clients) and qualitative data (e.g., client workshop and interview notes, operating models/organization charts)

* Assist in the development of client deliverables (e.g., findings and recommendations, presentations, charts, graphs and status reports)

* Help with special projects or assignments related to internal team processes and/or innovation initiatives (e.g., mobile apps, HR analytics tools, etc.)

* Work in partnership with senior level consultants, but must be capable of working with limited supervision

* Limited direct client interfacing, but significant portion of time spent on deliverables or services for clients

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with demonstrated academic success

* Interest in Human Resources, business strategy and how organizations are structured, process efficiency and how to optimize the productivity of people, online tools and technology, and organizational change management

* Interest in consulting for external clients is required; interest in working for a management consulting firm and/or developing organization strategy and financial models is preferred

* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and work under deadlines

* Ability to work on a number of projects concurrently and adapt to working with various teams

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources to identify themes and draw conclusions

* Strong computer skills; i.e., comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word), and PowerPoint
