Medical Biller - NEW Positions! Now seeking Medical Billers for a large, innovative medical facility in Bangor! Put your medical billing education and independent decision making skills to use while getting your foot in the door of a well-known area employer! Your duties may include: *Transmitting claims electronically utilizing BLAST software, or by hard copy *Following each claim through the entire process: follow-up, appeals, and correspondence *Adhering to third party billing policies and procedures The successful candidate will: *Have an educational background in medical billing *Have knowledge of MaineCare, as well as commercial insurance policies and procedures *Be proficient with Excel *Be able to think, judge, and set priorities independently with minimal supervision *Have previous experience with Cerner, Compucare, Filemark, Powerchart, Blast, and PMMC This is a full time, long term position with strong potential to become temp to hire for the right candidate.
