Weekly Schedule (hrs/wk): M-F 9-5 possible OT.
Maximum bill rate: $74.40 Some flexibility for top candidates.
Equipment: Laptop, will need JMP statistical analysis software installed by Vendor Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Qualifications:
Experience in consumer electronics testing, with a focus on test prioritization, process improvement, debugging and reporting. Project management skills. Will take ownership of assigned platforms and/or subsystems, and be responsible for test deliverables and schedules along with driving internal and external teams, developers, test teams, lab technicians, local and remote test houses.
A passion for gaming and game systems that extends to an architectural understanding of the HW.
Direct experience with the JMP statistical analysis tool and a demonstrated strength in DOE and related DFSS methodologies.
Skills in hardware and software engineering such as USB, SATA and PCIe protocol and signal level verification, embedded software or digital signal processing.
Strong in a broad area of combined electrical, mechanical, software & manufacturing problem spaces
Must have excellent communication and documentation skill
Some domestic and international travel may be required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

The successful candidate will understand the gaming industry and Xbox One hardware either because theyre part of it or have taken the time to look it up on Wikipedia. Theyll be expert at designing high quality tests that drive action.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS:

What is a typical day going to look like for this person? (Daily structure, time spent doing certain types of tasks, meetings, etc.)
Xbox hardware testing. Not bench testing. They will be running testing engagements. They will be doing investigations of the root causes. Will be running statistical analysis. They will need to understand the interworkings of the hardware.

They will need to know the games, and the Xbox ecosystems.

a.) At least 5 years of hardware testing experience.
b.) High level experience with Excel and JMP statistical analysis tool (or similar analysis tool)
c.) Know the Xbox ecosystem (including games)
