Purpose: The purpose of this position is to facilitate leadership development training programs and provide consultative support that assists with implementing strategies related to improved results and team effectiveness company-wide.
This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employee may also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the supervisor and other management as required. Essential Job Functions:
· Under general supervision, facilitate a variety of leadership development programs utilizing instructor-led and virtual instructor-led delivery methods demonstrating outstanding platform skills which inspire and motivate participants.
· Ensures the integrity of the classroom and the participants by utilizing adult learning techniques.
· Maintain inventory of all materials and equipment related to the leadership development curriculum.
· Consider and implement creative scheduling approaches to optimize reach to leaders across the organization.
· Consults effectively with various leadership levels to ensure understanding of leadership learning opportunities and evaluate leadership development needs.
· Recommend appropriate leadership development tools, i.e. coaching, mentoring, assimilations, 360 feedback, etc. to meet client needs.
· Collaborate with business partners to identify needs and address learning opportunities to support the Talent Planning and Succession Process.
· Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding, and ever-changing work environment.
· Demonstrate the communication skills (verbal and written) necessary to foster productive relationships across the company.
· Ensure accurate and proper records are maintained.
· Support the management of contract Facilitators in coordination with the Sr. Director, Leadership Development Training for leadership development opportunities.
· Drives messages and behaviors that role model TWC values and align with customer expectations and company goals.
· Remain up-to-date on new developments, methods and techniques in the training field.
· Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Education Level:
Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
Required Education (Major) :
Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Recommended Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, etc.:
· DDI certification or other leadership development curriculum certifications
Experience/Skills Required:
· Minimum of 3 years managerial experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in platform and/or virtual facilitation
· Prior coaching experience at both the employee and leadership levels
· Personal computer, Adobe Connect, and Microsoft office proficiency
· Knowledge of multimedia and audio visual equipment
· Excellent written and oral communication
Travel requirements and frequency:
· Travel, up to 60%, on a monthly basis
Legal or Financial Responsibilities: Requires adherence to Time Warner Cable Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
Communication Skill level:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Reasoning ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities:
· This position does not manage a training staff
