Job Summary This position will provide professional administrative support to the Central Sterile Processing Dept. This role will work under direct supervision as well as independently and proactively to relieve professional staff of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities*

Duties include but are not limited to:

Calendar and meeting support and coordination.

Receptionist activities.

Represent the ORs in handling inquiries of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.

Traditional receptionist/administrative/secretarial support.

Provide back-up support to other administrative assistants and others as needed.

Required Qualifications*

Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.). Experience in an administrative support capacity. A high school diploma or equivalent education. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus. Ability to successfully interact with various management levels and departmental staff. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently and regularly exercise judgment in setting priorities. Ability to compose and produce professional correspondence. Ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy. Experience working in a team-oriented atmosphere and can manage a fast-paced work environment with the ability to promote professional relationships within a team.

Desired Qualifications*

Bachelor degree. Work experience in a medical setting.
