Environmental Scientist - Full-time / Part-time

The Hazardous Waste Specialist is responsible for assisting the Technical Services Line of Business in a wide array of activities. Review all inbound labpack shipments to ensure government and company regulations are met. Assist chemists in the field by providing job-based knowledge and support. Providing accurate and timely quotes reviews for the sales organization. The Hazardous Waste Specialist is the backbone of the clients Technical Services business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Provides Help line technical assistance to Chemists and Sales Personnel in the field.
Assists Sales Personnel (Clean Pack Specialists, Account Managers and others) in developing Technical Service business.
Communicates technical support to customer on behalf of sales.
Maintains and develop expertise in DOT, RCRA knowledge, packing guidelines, CHES billing rules, Health and Safety protocols, waste classifications (CHES codes), and self pack guidelines.
Maintains and develop a complete working knowledge of all computer quoting systems.
