Revit Coordinator

Our client is an MEP engineering firm located in Fairfax, VA. They specialize in the design of government and commercial buildings. They are currently looking to hire a Revit Coordinator for a long term opportunity with their company. The Revit Coordinator provides electrical design and drafting support to selected project teams under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer or Department Head, with primary responsibility for Revit coordination and set-up.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve Revit issues through the lifecycle of the projects
• Actively participate in Quality Control Reviews.
• Assist in coordinating the security of all IT Systems, including tape backup, firewalls and routers, Anti-virus software, email security systems, user access and authentication systems.
• Working with Electrical Department Head, take leadership role in mentoring and improving internal Revit practices.
• Drafting support for Electrical Department as needed
