Job Description: Manages project information to support Product Development teams decision making. This person will "manage projects not people" and someone coming from a regulated environment would be ideal. Ex: medical device or aerospace is preferred. Work Environment: Large medical device manufacturing. Strong team oriented culture. Qualifications: - Demonstrates successful problem solving and coordination of project related activities.

- Written and oral communication skills required.

- Knowledge of MS Project.

- Previous experience with standard project management processes.

- PMI PMP and knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methods desired.

- Strong negotiation and meeting facilitation skills required.

- Diagnostic and/or Pharma industry and relevant diagnostic area knowledge preferred.

- Management of complex projects with ambitious milestones in high pressure circumstances.

- Experience with projects that required activity/milestone achievement to launch the product.

- Experience of challenging management in relation to data and resources.

- Good understanding of the Diagnostic Design Control process preferred.

Minimum (required): 5 years project management or product development experience or 3 years project management or product development experience with a related Masters degree. Experience in managing research & development projects in a regulated industry.
Performance Expectations: - Manages project information to support Product Development project teams decision making

- Tactical coordination of timelines/budgets for all projects and functions within Product Development:

a) Manage execution of cross-functional plans and track of progress of activities

b) Integrated resource and budget planning

c) Identify gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays and challenge assumptions

d) Risk management incl. critical path, risk assessment, scenario creation and analysis

e) Proposes options to close gaps and get projects back on schedule

f) Works with other project engineers/managers in the control of project data

g) Compile and communicate project reports

- Guide team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and optimization

- Implement / pull in best practices to project teams; foster continuous improvement by ensuring knowledge, experience exchange

- Guides and manages preparation for project milestone reviews

- Define, measure and report key performance indicators for their projects, enabling teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness

- Meeting management (set agenda, organize meetings, edit minutes)
