Chipset Test Technician

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Chipset Test Technician.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Seeking highly skilled Chipset Test Technicians experienced in using and troubleshooting handlers. Job Title: Test Technician Location: Santa Clara, CA Pay: $15.24-$19.04/hr (DOE) Hours/Shifts: 12-hour shift, 3-Day/4-Day alternating work schedule Sun - Tues/Wed or Wed-Fri/Sat 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Duration: 1 year contract Job Duties *Perform chipset evaluation based upon engineering specifications *Troubleshoot complex electrical circuits as well as mechanical equipment relating to the testing of chipsets *Work closely with the engineering staff to perform tests on chipset and provide analysis of test results *Setup bench testing of chipsets and test equipment used in manufacturing and software design *Run production testing *Must be familiar with testing tiny components based on specifications (one at a time or in a batch) *Duties might include disassembling subassemblies while utilizing tiny testing tools *Must be flexible to work overtime Skills/Experience Required *Must be familiar with ATE equipment, RF circuit boards, complex digital circuits, Unix and/or DOS, mechanical troubleshooting, and have in depth knowledge of test equipment *Test work will involve Test for development, Quality and Reliability Test, running samples through tests to ensure products perform under adverse conditions like temperature, cycle-time, vibration, humidity *Excellent troubleshooting skills and have the ability to follow detailed engineering directions *Previous experience working on test floor supporting product development *Setup experience with tests, handlers, and probers *Experience working in semiconductor industry, cell phones, or other electronic device preferred *Those that are skilled in electronic assembly and small electronic components are encouraged to apply!
