Piping Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is in need of a piping designer for a permanent position due to increased workload. This person will be involved with multiple projects focusing mostly on industrial processing / piping projects. This person will be in place to support projects such as new equipment, storage tanks, cooling towers and any other processing equipment that will be apart of capital improvement and construction projects.

Duties:

- Take piping & instrumentation designs and model/draft new or reconstructed project
- Model/detail equipment, produce piping/mechanical layouts, create general arrangement drawings, coordinate utility P&ID's with the plant piping
- Go into the field and take measurements from time to time

Requirements:

- Min 5 yrs of industrial CAD piping design experience (Food, Power, Ethanol, Oil, or a facilities with heavy process piping)
- Min 3 yrs of 3D design experience in the above fields
