Nuclear Construction Laborers

Fourteen construction laborers needed to perform industrial cleaning on power plants in the greater Charlotte area as well as other locations. Laborers will be doing hydroexcavations outside of the plant. This involves them pressure washing the ground to uncover piping and running a vacuum truck to suck the dirt up. They will also be pressure washing and sand blasting. Will be required to get extremely dirty on a daily basis - climbing through pipes, working in the mud, etc.

Applicants must be hard workers who have no problem working long hours at times and getting dirty at work every day. Applicants who have worked in construction or other dirty jobs before are the best fit. Must be comfortable working hard outside every day. There will be some travel involved, but the company will provide per diem and mileage.

Since the work is performed on a power plant, there is a VERY STRICT drug test and background check that is run prior to getting started. There will also be weeks where this person is required to work all 7 days of the week, sometimes as many as 12 hours per day.

This position is a 6 month contract to hire. If laborers work hard and have great attendance, they will be given a raise once they are brought on direct.
