Aerotek Professional Services is seeking a Payroll Tech for one of their leading healthcare companies in the Denver Metro area.
Payroll Tech Responsibilities include:
- Computing gross to net wages of all associates
- Prepares input data and payroll reports on a bi-weekly basis
- Answer calls from associates regarding questions about their paycheck, taxes, deductions, and benefits
- Audit payroll information
- Data entry of miscellaneous employee information
- Process terminations
- Provide employees with information on time entry, PTO/EIB balances, past wage history, etc.
- Responsible for PTO plan adjustments, accruals, payouts and purges
- Distributes incoming mail
- Resolving issues regarding employee paychecks
Payroll Tech Qualifications include:
- At least 2-4 years of payroll experience
- Knowledge of Wage/Hour/Labor policies
- Understanding of Kronos or a similar timekeeping product
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Some college is preferable or previous experience in the payroll function
- Pays between $15-$17/hour
