Payroll Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Professional Services is seeking a Payroll Tech for one of their leading healthcare companies in the Denver Metro area.

Payroll Tech Responsibilities include:

• Computing gross to net wages of all associates
• Prepares input data and payroll reports on a bi-weekly basis
• Answer calls from associates regarding questions about their paycheck, taxes, deductions, and benefits
• Audit payroll information
• Data entry of miscellaneous employee information
• Process terminations
• Provide employees with information on time entry, PTO/EIB balances, past wage history, etc.
• Responsible for PTO plan adjustments, accruals, payouts and purges
• Distributes incoming mail
• Resolving issues regarding employee paychecks

Payroll Tech Qualifications include:

• At least 2-4 years of payroll experience
• Knowledge of Wage/Hour/Labor policies
• Understanding of Kronos or a similar timekeeping product
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Some college is preferable or previous experience in the payroll function
• Pays between $15-$17/hour
