QA Lab Technician - Full-time / Part-time

1. Maintains equipment database for documentation, results, and repairs. Insturments being uses are NIR, moisture analysis, pH testing, texture analysis.

2. Analyzes quality assurance data, creates reports, and communicates the information to management.

3. Initializes the set up of new laboratory equipment, learns how to operate the equipment, and educates and trains other technologists.

4. Manages and records impoundments into the database.

5. Monitors trends and quality compliance of production procedures.

6. Will follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.

7. Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.

8. Will be accountable to the Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintains, cleans, and calibrates laboratory equipment.

2. Conducts and participates in various internal and external audits.

3. Performs other various job functions as may be assigned.
