Design Training for a leader in the healthcare arena! Your primary responsibly will be designing and developing effective training programs and materials. You are an individual who keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, instructional strategies, business processes, products and systems in several functional areas. This will be done in accordance with management and functional leaders to gather information on business needs to design instructor-led, virtual instructor-led and eLearning.
Designers at OptumRx are responsible for identifying training needs for facilitator guides, eLearning modules, virtual instructor-led classes, and train-the-trainer sessions. Designers are expected to adhere to the design and development processes and procedures. As a key resource to others, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
2+ years of experience working in a learning environment, as an instructor, trainer, or in an instructional design role, OR, 2+ years of experienced as a SME, team lead, or OTJ trainer in prior authorization or pharmacy operations
Intermediate skill in MS Word, PowerPoint
Experience designing web-based training in a corporate environment
Systems and technical instructional design experience
Demonstrates effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drives for results individually and in a team setting
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Experience with Excel or Project for self-managing time and project deliverables
Strong written communication skills
Project coordination / management skills
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), or willingness and ability to complete a 9 week class and obtain a CPhT certification within 1st year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in education, instructional design or related field
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
Pharmacy background is a plus
2+ years of experience working in instructional design
eLearning design experience is a plus
Experience with xCode, IOS, mobile learning
Experience with Captivate or Articulate for eLearning design and development
Virtual instructor-led instructional design experience
Experience with learning management systems
