A Buchanan, VA manufacturing company is looking for skilled CNC Operators!
Skill Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment when needed
- Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories
- Ability to perform repetitive movements
- Basic math skills
- Ability to calculate material fabrication
- Standing for long periods of time
- Comfortable with a noisy work environment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work orders
Job Duties:
- Setting up the mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three-and-four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, gears, stops, and stock pushers
- Verifying the settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards
- Specifications should be maintained by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls
- Adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts. OT may be necessary.
Willing to train experienced machinists!
Pay : BOE 10-15.00/hr
