Title:  Child Nutrition Services Cost Analyst Technician

 

Qualifications:

  • AA degree in business, accounting, or related area required
  • Bachelor’s in business or related area preferred
  • Prior successful work experience
  • Proficient data entry/management skills
  • Such alternatives to the above as may be found comparable and acceptable

 

REPORTS TO:  Director of Child Nutrition

 

JOB GOALS:  To contribute to the effective operation of the Child Nutrition program so that each school child is provided with nutritious food of high quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness and care.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Responsible for all inventory review and entry into My Fi
  2. Responsible for Warehouse organization and inventory tracking.  Oversee weekly inventories and usage of products.  This includes doing all warehouse transfers to school sites
  3. Chartwells payroll to be completed by close of business on Thursday.  Pay stubs mailed to each associate bi-weekly. 
  4. Assisting in hiring and maintaining employee files.  Track vacation and sick time usage.
  5. Assisting with cash handling and day to day Meals Plus maintenance,
  6. Provides technical support and training for cashiers on the point of sale systems.
  7. Maintains documentation for Summer Feeding Program and serves as a source of information about the policies and procedures of the program.
  8. Maintains monthly reports and supporting documentation for all program audits.
  9. Compiles MPLH and CPM weekly to be shared with associates on Monday conference call
  10. Compile Fixed Cost per Meal invoice and complete District Financial report
  11. Reformats reports to central office software programs.  Serves as a troubleshooter in use of CNS Central Office software.
  12. Coordinates and provides annual training for site directors and CNS personnel related to reports and procedures required by the Program.
  13. Verifies and processes all invoices for payment. 
  14. Performs administrative duties such as shipping/receiving and processing of purchase orders.
  15. Prepares billing for catered items, afterschool programs and head start program. 
  16. Collects, verifies and records all Chartwells employee time sheets and submits them
  17. Maintains Employee Files on Child Nutrition Associates.
  18. Assists in providing information and the monitoring of employee benefits.
  19. Participate in weekly conference calls. 
  20. Runs criminal Record Checks on Employees.
  21. Composes memos and correspondence at the direction of the CNS Director.
  22. Performs any other duties as assigned by CNS Director
