We have an opening for our 2016Summer Internship Program in Human Resources. Our internship will provide the student intern with practical work experience designed to expand their classroom education and career path as they prepare for a profession in the field of Human Resources . The ideal intern will be professional, creative and highly tactical who also has the ability to think strategically. The intern needs to be capable of displaying a strong balance of analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and presentation skills, and should be able to work independently while also contributing to the team.

Responsibilities:

Provide analytical support Assist with recurring reporting activities Prepare and organize metric presentation slides Structure and convey information in verbal and written presentation formats Ability to work with all levels of employees Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Own specific metric driven projects Assist with coordination and tracking program surveys Assist with planning and implantation of workshops and events Research and collect data for various HR initiatives Research and source through social media platforms Network with internal and external constituents Assist recruiters with sourcing, posting and closing requisitions Learn functions with recruiting coordinator role Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: Ability to handle confidential information Use intermediate and advanced functions in Excel and PowerPoint Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detailed oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Quick learner and capable of multitasking Flexible and adapts well to change Professional appearance and attitude

Job Requirements Must submit a resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation Must have a 3.0 GPA or above Must be currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited College or University Junior, Senior or Graduate student Must work 30-40 hours per week during the 10 week session Preferred majors Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or MBA EEO Statement No Discrimination.
