San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles -- Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is seeking an excellent Acute Care nurse practitioner to serve the community of Mission Hills. This full-time position will work closely with a trauma surgeon at PHCMC's Level II trauma center. Provider will be responsible for various bedside procedures as well as rounding on patients, transferring orders and discharge. Acute care or trauma NP experience required. Spanish language skills helpful, but not required. Please note:

* Must have CA license or have application in process
* Must be board-certified or -qualified (within five years of obtaining eligibility)

Minimum Experience
Two years experience in acute care nursing, preferably in ICU or ED
One year experience as a nurse practitioner
Required Certification/Training
BLS for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
ACLS
Nurse Practitioner Furnishing number
Board Certification, preferably as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
ATLS within one year of hire
16 hours of trauma related continuing education per year
Require License
Current California Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license
