Quality Control Inspector

Client in Phoenix is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. This is a temp-hire opportunity paying to $16.00 DOE

1) Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Adobe PDF Pro and Excel)

2) FAIRs per AS9102 Rev. B

3) Inspection gauge usage (Caliper, micrometer, height gauge, durometer gauge, pi tape, CMM and comparator.

4) Knowledge of AIAG 4th Edition Level III PPAPs.

5) Minitab

6) Excels in a fast paced environment and extremely detail oriented.

7) Can multitask, prioritize work load and communicate clearly, professionally and effectively.

8) Team player, positive attitude and reliable.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Performs complete reviews of customer requirements, inspections per blueprints, Military, SAE & AMS specs and lab test results for materials and components.
• Creates First Article Inspection reports per AS9102 using Microsoft Excel.
• Records nonconformance’s and takes appropriate action to correct issues.
• Performs final inspections of completed shipments.
• Performs internal audits per AS-9100.
• Communicates professionally and effectively with SSC Sales team, management, engineers and suppliers verbally and with use of Microsoft Office E-mail, Calendar (events/invites), Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Excel.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand applications.
• Must be able to read and interpret Military, SAE and AMS specifications and standards.
• Must be able to use basic measuring equipment such as calipers, go/no go gauges, pi tape, comparator, and radius gages.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime if required.

This is a permanent full-time, 8am - 4:30pm shift, M-F, and OT as needed. Applicant must be able to pass a back ground check and a drug test.
