As a Charge Nurse at HealthSouth, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent patient satisfaction and positive outcomes by supervising the care, treatment and services provided to patients by nursing staff on the assigned unit and throughout the shift. You will also be expected to support the efforts of the nursing staff by providing direct patient care when needed, assess and reassess patients throughout the shift and report patient concerns and changes in condition to the nurse supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner. You will also work with the interdisciplinary team by providing the appropriate information to the team, and utilizing the information received to ensure positive patient outcomes. You will also be a part of creating a plan of care that is individualized to patient needs and is reflective of patient goals.

To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed Registered Nurse within the state of Virginia and have a valid CPR card. ACLS and CRRN certification are preferred. N inpatient hospital setting is required and experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. You must have a strong desire to help people andbe proficient in web-based computer applications. In addition, you must have excellent time management and task prioritization skills. One year of experience in inpatient hospital setting is preferred and inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
