Job Description:
The Logistics Supervisor t is a key position responsible for day to day oversight of general logistics functions.
Essential job functions:
Order processing: Process online and system orders. Experience with retail drop ship accounts is required.
Document accuracy: Prepare all necessary shipping documents for domestic and international, inbound and outbound shipments.
Quality control: Assure that orders are dispatched complete and correct.
Inventory control: Keep inventory count and coordinate replenishment and allocation for finished goods inventory.
Freight and shipping coordination: Route and assign best carrier service options. Assure shipments are ready, on time cargo pick up and/ or deliveries (FCL, LCL, LTL & FTL).
Returns: Arrange product returns and process these in system.
General services: Work with internal customers to achieve objectives (quotes, labels, ASN, etc. ).
Qualifications:
Experience with retail drop ship accounts.
Knowledge of US customs laws and regulations
Proficient in MS Office
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Detail and results oriented
Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize
Proactive, positive, self-starter, multitask and excellent work ethic.
Preferred experience in EDI and Microsoft Great Plains.
Work environment / physical demands:
This job operates in a physical office environment. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 100 pounds.
