Salary $50 to $55k with benefits and retirement plan
Our client who has been a global manufacturer for over 100 years is searching for a Logistics/Shipping Coordinator. The Logistics/Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling the shipment of their products via LTL, flatbed and rail. Strong candidates will have a high level of experience shipping and be familiar with the carriers in the local area. Also in this role, you will oversee incoming raw materials along with the return process when there is an order discrepancy. Building rapport and maintaining vendor relations is very important in this role. Exceptional candidates will have a manufacturing background and have an understanding of SAP.
Requirements:
* 5+ plus years of experience as a logistics/shipping coordinator in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with Excel, Word, SAP and Outlook
* Outstanding time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills.
* Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
