On behalf of RTI International, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking Part-Time experienced Test Administrators and Field Interviewers to work on a school-based research study.
You have several important responsibilities as a Test Administrator (TA) for PIRLS. The work of a TA requires a wide range of skills and abilities.

On behalf of RTI International, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking Part-Time experienced Test Administrators and Field Interviewers to work on a school-based research study.
You have several important responsibilities as a Test Administrator (TA) for PIRLS. The work of a TA requires a wide range of skills and abilities.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attending and successfully completing the Test Administrator training session (February 1 - 4, 2016);
- Available during entire data collection period (March – June, 2016) in order to conduct in-school data collection activities;
- Maintaining confidentiality and data security;
- Following all data collection procedures and protocols when preparing for and conducting sessions in schools;
- Observing all quality control procedures and maintaining established performance standards;
- Committing your time and effort to the project and reporting for work as scheduled;
- Filing time and expense reports and other administrative records as required;
- Reporting progress and problems to your field supervisor during weekly conference calls and/or as needed;
- Must have experience using computers and be technically savvy;
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds (for in-school assignments each TA will be assigned 30 laptops and will receive a bin and rolling cart in which to carry those laptops – these items may need to be lifted in and out of your vehicle);
- Will need to complete requirements to obtain security clearance; and
- Will need to have your own transportation (even if you live in a city with good public transit, you will be required to travel to schools with project equipment in the suburbs and therefore must have your own transportation).
- TAs will be subjected to a federal security clearance check. This includes extensive background checks, fingerprinting and signing a confidentiality agreement and affidavit of nondisclosure. TAs also may be required to undergo additional security clearance required by some schools and/or districts.
