We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Purchasing Manager.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Must have 1 or more years experience.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: 45k to 60k
Requirements
Primary Job Functions
Assure the procurement of production supplies and equipment
Control inventory and purchasing goods to insure adequate supplies of parts and materials as required by the Company (US and CA) to maintain maximum productivity
Initiates and oversees negotiation of prices and contracts with vendors as necessary
Responsible for providing management with an analysis of products purchased to ensure proper value is being maintained
Work closely with production regarding materials management, scheduling control and inventory control status
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure good, reliable sources of supply and information
Ensure inventory movements are performed by them most cost effective transportation mod and implement improvements
Tracking of aged inventory within a computerized inventory system
Assure materials and product are stored in proper areas
Develop min/max criteria to assist with maintaining adequate inventory
Other duties as assigned
Starting pay is $45 to 60k a year.
