Bilingual - Collections Specialist- Title Loans
Work Location: Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities and Duties:
- The duties of the title loan collections specialist include collection calls, and correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department.
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Kansas title loan department.
- Enlist the efforts of supervisor when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
- Skip Trace customer information and call handling in order to provide accurate information for collection efforts with trending information per collection behaviors.
- Must communicate & maintain collection effort results, daily, weekly and monthly tracking sheet and complete follow up calls effectively regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships customers, leadership and customer relations as a whole.
- Maintain repossession inventory and complete repossession title loan work for vendors.
- Maintain and communicate effectively with Store personnel, Repossession and Auction vendors.
- Meet defined department goals and KPI metrics

Essential Functions:
- Set payment arrangements and evaluate accounts based on account balance, payment history, vehicle values and provide avenues of resolutions for a multitude of customer payment issues. With the overall goal of loans being returned to the "Title" loan audit category.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor.
- Maintain daily tracking sheet and payment arrangements.
- Flexible work schedule and assignments.
- High volume phone calls and account evaluations to assigned delinquent customers.
- Perform skip tracing and due diligence functions to ensure compliance of all Federal, State and Local Regulations
- Comply with all FDCPA, CFPB and UDAP regulations.
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Ensure all behaviors and communication uphold our company values and guidelines.
- Meet defined department goals in support of the Kansas stores revenue and write off figures.
- Prioritize and manage accounts assigned to expectations and strategy as determined by supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months Collections experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and experience to work in a MS Windows office based environment.
- Proven commitment to excellent customer service via quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Successful decision making, negotiating abilities, and problem solving experience.

Preferred Skills/ Experience:
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
- Title Loan/ Auto Industry experience
- Experience with Experian, Accurint, Fast-Data, U.S. Traces skip tracing programs
- Knowledge with RDN big plus but not required
