Requirements
We have a full-time opportunity available for a hard working, dedicated, and reliable Banquet Captain for an elite hotel in the Cool Springs area!
Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate on all aspects of the position.
The ideal candidate would posses the following qualities:
- Open/Flexible schedule, previous FOH experience in banquets, restaurants, or similar, willingness to go above and beyond on a daily basis, ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines and pressure.
Job duties would consist of, but are not limited to the follwoing:
-Superb execution of large dinners, receptions and events that require food and beverages. You would be responsible for making sure that the tables are decorated correctly, the food is presented well, and service goes off without a hitch. You would be in charge of floor staff, and making sure that they are in uniform and serving the clients in a speedy and friendly manner. You would be the the liaison to the chefs and cooking staff in the back, letting them know what food needs to be replenished. You would work directly with the event coordinators or hosts, and would be in charge of addressing and fixing any questions or concerns that come up before or during service. You will also be in charge of ensuring tables and chairs are set according to provided diagrams.
We provide in-house audio and visual and you would be responsible for assisting with this setup. We will provide thorough training for this role to ensure success on both sides.
