JOB DESCRIPTION

Inside Sales/Pricing Coordinator

As part of the Sales Support team, the position will report to the Key Accounts and Pricing Manager, and assist in all aspects of account management, quoting, and sales support. Skill should include experience in Freight Forwarding and Quoting, excellent customer service, strong customer service skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and experience with Excel. Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment essential.

*** 3-5 years' of operations, customer service AND/OR sales admin experience from the FREIGHT FORWARDING INDUSTRY is required for this position!!!!!! ***


Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for day to day sales support of accounts as assigned, including communication with the client, required reports, obtaining rates, communicating with overseas offices, updating profiles, liaison with operations, and providing full customer service support


  • Preparation of monthly reports on each account assigned with analysis of any business changes, as well as new business development


  • Business expansion with existing accounts, investigating and adding new trade lanes


  • Respond to all overseas inquiries as assigned, supplying pricing or service assistance


  • Respond to pricing requests from the sales team as assigned, providing quotes to the customers and follow up on all quotes


  • Develop expertise in all systems, including Freight Office, FastDeploy/CRM, and use of Datamyne


  • Preparation of RFPs or any rate proposals as requested


  • Attendance at any sales meetings, sales calls, or management meetings as requested.


Reports to: Key Accounts and Pricing Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. OR 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with 1 hour lunch
