Laundry Attendant - FT & PT - Winter Seasonal

Laundry Attendants tend laundry machines to clean articles such as bed and table linens, bath towels, robes, and uniforms. Attendants also assist with storage, inventory, and issuing/distributing bed and tables lines, and towels. 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent.
• Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles.
• Lift clean, wet laundry from washer and place them into the dryers for measured time cycles.
• Fold dried linens and towels before placing them on labeled shelves.
• Inventory all linens and towels.
• Examine all laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.

• Conduct inventories to identify items in need of replacement.  Keep laundry area in a clean orderly condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. -required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English. -required
• Willing to work with changing shift schedules. -required
• Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hrs. -required

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -required.
• One year housekeeping/laundry experience. -preferred
