Summary

Business Analyst (Project Management)



The Business Analyst role will encompass a cross between project management skills and those of a business analyst. The Business Analyst position is designed to provide our Sales Managers and Vendor Partners with comprehensive sales analysis and support. Will be responsible for running and compiling sales summaries, analyzing the data and providing actionable insights for retailer business. The project manager side offers direct project involvement and collaborative work with field based account teams and internal operations staff via email and in-person. This person will be in charge of the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from conception to completion with specified deliverables.



Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project team & quality assurance
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Schedule and facilitate key project meetings – conduct team status meetings and team status schedule
  • Provide weekly project summaries based on POS data
  • Analyze data and translate it into actionable insights with the goal of driving sales and establishing ROI metrics
  • Run and publish adhoc reports as needed/requested
  • Prepare presentations for buyer meetings/line reviews
  • Support sales team in completing forms needed for other internal departments
  • Proficient in Project Management tools (i.e., MS Project) or similar project tool (s)
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports


Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Microsoft Office - Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with management
  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
  • Results driven
