Production Lead

*Works closely with Warehouse Lead to insure execution of management team's plan *All Assembly labor, including full time, part time and contract labor, receive work direction from the Production Lead. Forklift drivers are excluded. *Works to maximize labor production and efficiency by following the production plan as directed by the General Manager. Makes appropriate adjustments as required on the production floor based on observation, ex.: work flow bottlenecks, skill level of employee, absenteeism, etc. *Communicates production amounts, efficiencies and issues to GM not less than 3 times daily. Works with GM to resolve issues and improve production and efficiency as required. *Works to produce production plan exactly thus reducing overruns. *Works to insure the value added production step is produced at 100% efficiency. *At the beginning of every new project, works with management member who quoted project to insure it is being produced as quoted. Makes improvements to production flow to increase efficiencies and lessen production time. *Works closely with Warehouse Lead to insure proper changeover timing and preparation. *Works closely with GM to evaluate low performers to constantly improve labor staff.
