As a Software Engineer in Quality on the Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you will uniquely contribute to the companys next generation analytics platforms. Your day to day may include building and maintaining tools, implementing synthetic data solutions, automating everything around you, or organizing the test efforts of the feature developers.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Expand our automated test coverage and build out our automation frameworks
Build and maintain internal utilities and tools for both individual teams and across all of Nike engineering
Develop tools to create synthetic test data
Improve our tooling, logging, and log analysis to quickly identify bugs in the wild
Establish and maintain processes to support and grow continuous integration practices at Nike
Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the testing process
Promote a culture of testing at Nike
Ensure that Nike software is awesome and high-quality

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Hands-on experience with Hadoop and tools such as Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Impala and Spark is required
Strong understanding of Data warehouse, Big Data and BI Analytics concepts
Strong (demonstrable) knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one functional language (Java, Python, etc.)
Four or more years of Agile development and test development experience in BI/DW
Experience developing in a continuous integration environment using Jenkins or similar CI frameworks.
Strong experience with automated testing
Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance
Strong communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in an AWS environment
Experience with Netflix OSS technologies
