Maintenance Mechanic

• 5+ years of plant maintenance experience in Chemical/Specialty chemical plant PSM facility Already have a experience running plant maintenance shop with 2-3 mechanics in a PSM facility

• Work safely. Must know all safety rules and regulations pertaining to his/her work and consistently observe them
• Must wear correct personal protective equipment (PPE) applicable to task being performed
• Must know and be able to perform, train, and teach all personnel in all phases of operations within respective area of expertise
• Capable of coordinating schedules, plant activities and maintenance as needed
• Must know how to properly use all hand tools and other equipment used as part of area operations. This includes, but is not limited to: wash bins, pallet jacks, wrenches, drum carts, scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, hand tools, drum elevators, tank wagon unloading, level indicators, scales, hoists, and forklifts
• Must be able to read and properly interpret work instructions and reporting paperwork
• Must be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair/replace/fix plant equipment and machineries
• Must be familiar with Electrical diagnoses, troubleshoot and repair activities, Electrical License is a plus
• Shall be fully responsible for all phases of operations within area of expertise
• Must be able to lead plant safety, first aid and emergency response
• Must be willing to work in shifts and available during call-ins
• Must perform any and all of these and all of these and related job duties, as well as those of lesser labor grades as required by management
• Must have good attendance, be willing to learn new tasks, and maintain a safe work environment
• Must have experience with Emission control (VOC system) and measurement system (Analyzer)
• Must be able to develop, use and manage JDE Plant Maintenance system
• Must be able to supervise and direct outside contractors for building facilities, HVAC and plant equipment, safety and emergency systems
• Must be familiar with material handling equipment, hoists, conveyors, scale etc.
• Must be able to do required plant safety and regulatory inspections
