Controls Engineer

Candidate must haves:
- Follow instructions well
- GMP education and experience
- High volume manufacturing
- Ability to follow steps and instructions
- Medical Device / Pharma experience is highly preferred (food manufacturing would be acceptable)

- Need to understand validation. Must have good validation experience and practices
- Hybrid of GAMP 4 - components related
- Executing test scripts
- IQ/OQ/PQ experience
- Siemens PLC - APT 505 experience
- This is not a programming or design job but the right candidate has a plethora of PLC programming experience
- Electrical Engineers a plus
- Servos they use are Emerson // Robotics they use are IAI or Mitsubishi
- HMI / Wonderware experience is a plus


The following are some things that we are looking for in an Controls Engineering Candidate - :

1) Safety Circuit Design
a. Relays
b. PLCs

2) Knowledgeable of EN ISO 13849-1 and EN954

3) Electrical Circuit Design

4) Knowledgeable of NEC

5) Knowledgeable of NFPA 79

6) Knowledgeable of NFPA 70E

7) Knowledgeable of Arc Flash

8) Ability to Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications.

Daily Activities:
1) Assess code and determine what changes need to be made (modification of code) - propagate from line to line
2) Assess new technology and make enhancements to code
3) I/O debug of line - troubleshoot
4) Some validation activities - test accuracy of test scripts
5) Startup / retrofits - supporting manufacturing in this process
6) Continuous Improvement projects - ie. reduce cycle time or work on non-conformance issues

- IO checks
- Troubleshoot equipment on the floor
- Test plans
- Program - to help unlock equipment
