Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square
The Banquet Captain is responsible for: training and directing the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business. Requirements include: comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations; service standards; guest relations and etiquette; and knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local health and safety regulations.
Previous banquet serving experience required. Previous banquet supervisory experience strongly preferred. Prefer experience in a large hotel or convention center. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs. Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time. Must be at least 18 years old.
Start date for this position will be January 4, 2016.
