Job Summary:
Lookout Cabin is looking for genuinely warm and friendly servers to become part of our team. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You must be 21 years old, have TIPS card and food handlers certificates within thirty days of hire. Lunch and dinner shifts are available. Prior experience serving is required; experience in the hospitality industry is desired. This is a seasonal position which could transition into a year-round position. Love where you work and play! The lead server position acts a point person in the front-of house. Assist with the training and direction of other servers.

Essential Duties

  • Provide excellent service to guests
  • Works as a team with all coworkers to provide friendly and efficient service
  • Serve food and drinks, bus tables, perform side work
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Assist with set up and take down of server station
  • Attend all required training
  • Adhere to schedule and uniform requirements
  • Take direction and follow through to ensure safe, consistent five star service
  • Adhere to UDABC rules and regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Prior experience as a server
  • Must be at least 21 years or older
  • Must be organized and possess attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and available to work holidays, evenings, weekends
  • Must be able to obtain Utah Food Handler’s Permit, TIPS/SIPS within 30 days of hire

Preferred Experience/Special Skills

  • Genuine desire to care for guests
  • Ability to maintain a positive and respectful work environment
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry
