Positions in this function are responsible for the installation and administration of assigned contracts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and provider education materials. Positions are also responsible for overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing using various databases. May include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards. Basic, structured, standard approach to work.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:  

High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years in a corporate setting
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 NAC form SF86
NAC clearance     
1+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience, specifically in credentialing providers, working in provider relations, medical billing or quality management
Microsoft Word experience (creating documents)           
Microsoft Excel experience (sorting, filtering, basic understanding of Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:  

NDB Experience          
PIMS experience  
Bachelor's Degree
As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group’s contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf, (the National Agency Check or “NAC”).  Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role.  NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense.  Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.  Failure to obtain final NAC approval will result in termination from this role.
