Project Manager - Full-time / Part-time

A long time Aerotek client has won several contracts throughout DC and Maryland with work ranging from 300kw - 5 MW.

. They will be doing 80-90 projects over the next 2-3 years, and have an immediate need for 1-2 Electrical Superintendents/Foremen with a strong electrical background and preferably a Master License.

Projects are both ground and rooftop Solar projects, 6-8 week duration, they are starting 3 projects in November in both DC and Maryland.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager has responsibility for overall turnkey management of specified commercial construction project(s). S/he may oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, each at varying stages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist and support Business Development Department with site visit and constructability approach
* Assist preconstruction and design development phase
* Providing constructability reviews of all plans and specification to achieve the most cost-effective project(s).
* Assist with coordinate with the project team in developing project sequencing, logistics, and mobilization plan
* Assist Engineering Department with interconnection approach

o Prepare Weekly all schedule updates and 2 week look ahead schedules
o Properly plan, schedule, and monitor all material deliveries to avoid project delays.
o Ability to properly plan and mitigate risk.

* Develop overall project safety plan in compliance with OHSA and other regulations including:
o Monitors, implements, and evaluates all onsite project safety with subcontractors and others.
o Develop and implement Job Hazard Analysis Plan
o Conduct all Tool Box Talks
o Issue non-compliance violations to person(s) or company.
