We are looking for an experienced Loan Processor to help fill a role in the Mountlake Terrace area. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who contains a full cycle (closing/disclosure/processing) knowledge of the loan process.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinates and prepares loan closing packages, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, insurance and guarantee functions/specifications, as applicable.
* Issues funds and closing instructions necessary to ensure marketability of loans.
* Interfaces with escrow agents to ensure firm closing dates and accurate completion of loan files.
* May issue wire fund transfers as required.
* Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

* Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
* Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
* Ability to use office software (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and equipment.
* Requires a high school diploma, vocational training or equivalent.
* Requires general knowledge of mortgage banking, emphasizing various loan program requirements (i.e., closing, compliance, disclosure, other legal requirements).
* Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes.
* Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required, annual required, or job-specific training.
