Positions in this function are involved in
developing market strategies to support products and drive
membership/sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans
to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program
launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic
considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage
program/project budgets.Both positions must to report into the UHC
office in Southfield, Michigan at minimum, on a quarterly basis – and possibly
more dependent on the project.Additionally, both positions may be required to
provide onsite support in others areas of Michigan for special projects and
initiatives as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support the Sales/Marketing team in assigned territoryEstablish new relationships and maintain existing onesCollaborate with Sales Agents and Agent Managers to understand their needsIdentify opportunity and develop a Marketing
strategy, in a diverse multi-cultural Senior citizen population, which
is supportive to the Sales Agent's networking (territory)Share our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we serviceCreate educational and sales events within our targeted populationExecute, plan and coordinate resources (i.e., Vendors, Partners, Sales Agent, etc.) to ensure a successful event Responsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within assigned territory

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED2+ years of Marketing or Community Relations experience4+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment4+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables 4+ years proven experience influencing and collaborating with othersHealthcare Industry experienceMust have a dependable vehicle and a current Driver's LicenseMust be able to travel within territory and work evenings & weekends, when required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Marketing rules and regulationsBilingual with English and ArabicCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
