Community Health Systems Professional Services Corporation seeks an HR Specialist for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Employee Service Center team

Summary:

The Human Resource Specialist performs the HR transactional and processing functions in a staff position within the Payroll and HR Shared Service Center (SCC). The HR functions include but are not limited to, record administration, license management, employment verification, pre-employment screening and background checks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

Accurately maintain employee records including on-boarding data, employment adjustments and exit data for multi-location entities.

Responsible for ensuring active license documentation and obtaining proper license documentation when needed for multi-location entities.

Tasked with problem analysis and resolution as it pertains to the areas of job responsibility

Provides prompt, courteous and accurate customer support as to pertains to employment verification and related inquires for multi-location entities; includes strictly adhering to policies of the SSC in regard to what information is communicated.

Conducts pre-employment screening for employees of the SSC's multi-location entities

Serves a key contact for facility personnel

Maintains confidentiality as it pertains to all Human Resource and Payroll information

Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statement of the company

Participates in provided training programs as applicable

Performs responsibilities that contribute towards meeting or exceeding team and center goals

Promptly escalate appropriate issues to team lead and/or manager

Provides prompt, courteous and accurate customer support in resolution of human resource transactions as trained to do.

Provide suggestions and/or recommendations for changes to applicable processes or tools as recognized from functioning in the role on a daily basis.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required

High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year HRIS experience; UltiPro, preferred

Minimum 2 years work experience in office, processing center or similar environment required

Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills required

Proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while maintaining good relationships with co-workers and supervisors.

Preferred

Experience with UltiPro strongly preferred

Experience in HR function for multi-state and/or multiple facilities preferred

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred

HR or payroll experience in a healthcare field, a plus

PHR certification, a plus

Hours

The hours for this position will be 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm,10am-7pm.
