About this job

Responsibilities* This position provides clerical support to the MEND, Podiatry and Cancer/Medical Genetics clinics at Domino's Farms. Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Duties include the following:

- Answering the phone and triaging calls to the nurse; determining the urgency of the call

- Handling prescription refill requests for patients

- Initiate, respond too and monitor In Basket communications in MiChart

- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments that are offered at our clinic

- Provide check-in and check-out services (when assigned to this rotation)

- Scheduling diagnostic testing appointments and consultations for patients

- Cash reconciliation - collecting payments and balancing at the end of shift

- Imaging documents (outside medical records, letters, legal documents, etc)

- Participate in monthly clerical meeting and staff meeting

Required Qualifications* Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be an high school graduate or equivalent (GED).

Desired Qualifications* Experience with Epic (MiChart) and knowledge of medical terminology is preferable. Any experience in customer service is beneficial.
